Lost Ark upcoming MMO looks delicious!

It's been a while since an mmo caught my attention like Lost Ark did! This game looks beautiful both in terms of graphics and gameplay! There are seven classes on this video and still there are eleven more classes under development!

Amazing isn't it?! This just looks like it destroyed Lineage Eternal which is another mmo in the works with a similar top down view! This may just be the game I've been waiting for and may keep me entertained longer than Diablo 3 or even Path of Exile has! How many of you are looking forward to this amazing looking mmo? What class will you be playing when it does release? :)

Grand Fantasia Revisited!

So after going on hiatus yet again from this game I have discovered that it has continued to live on in my absence! Usually most games I try to revisit get shutdown but not this one! It has however had a server merge and only has one server now. The prices for some of the more necessary cash shop items has gone through the roof and some of the players are complaining that the prices are way too expensive! I agree but that is what happens when two servers merge! The thing to notice though is that the population is more decent than it was before. More players are running around doing their quests and things of that nature while others are simply talking in the center of Kaslow and other cities! This is a plus considering it may be easier to find groups to do dungeons with!

Aside from the server merge the level cap has increased to 100 and there have been new class advancements added as well as new equipment and the usual cash shop items! Recently a mentor and apprentice system has been added and, although useless,it does provide apprentices with a decent exp and drop boost if in a party with the master! This may(but probably won't) encourage veteran players to assist the lowbies in leveling and getting the hang of the game! Check out more info on this forum post: Master and Apprentice FAQ

Nothing else has changed though. PvP is still dominated by players covered in +14-+20 equipment, finding a group is not as bad but still a pain, and they seem to focus on cash shop events with the exception of a loyalty reward for players that do not buy cash shop items. This game is still fun for players that just want something to kill time and the sprite crafting system is really cool and not as time consuming as most other games where you have to actually craft items yourself and get the mats. Being a lazy crafter has its perks! :D

Alien Queen Slain and Beheaded!

Alright so as you can see by the video above I have been given the luxury of owning an Alien Queen head! No I didn't actually slay the creature....I wish though! I am starting to collect mask pieces from cosplayers around here that need to make room for more of their recent cosplays! Which is fine because my room is kinda sorta empty minus a few accessories here and there! Right now I'm just waiting for this blasted rain to cease so I can go out back and start nailing the alien queen and Majoras Mask to a wall or door...or something! Peace out peeps! :)

Logitech G600 Gaming Mouse

Alright so I know I didn't really talk much about the Logitech G600 Gaming Mouse but I will write a short and sweet review for any of those people who want more...specifics! Mind you this is my first gaming mouse but since I have never used one before I can give a more honest opinion over how it is for newbies.

  • Has 20 buttons total! Three more than the Razer Naga
  • Easy to use software that allows the change of colors, and keybinds
  • Looks cool
  • Less grooves than any other mouse which makes for easy maintenance especially for those with sweaty hands
  • Like the above the material seems to keep it relatively clean of any sweat gunk
  • Easy to use for people with small hands(like me)
  • DPI can be changed using the logitech software
  • Software also allows for binding multiple keystrokes to one button
  • Software allows for the use of macros if you're into that
  • Apparently the software is easier to use than the razer software?
  • Has more weight to it than most gaming mice and but it's expected what with all the buttons and the LEDs
  • Thumb buttons don't heat up like they do on other gaming mice
And I'm done.

Lionheart Tactics: A nice turn based game!

Lionheart Tactics is a game that reminds me of the days that I would spend countless hours playing Final Fantasy Tactics! The same thing applies here as it did then! You control your main character and adventure across the land and on your adventures you gather more heroes to aid you in your quest against the forces of evil! Except Lionheart brings a few things to the table that FFT didn't! To those that have played Final Fantasy Tactics you will spot the differences! To those that haven't...well..you will still be satisfied with this game!

The game starts off with a brief story introducing us to the hero! Yes you are a king! Then quickly afterwards you are met with a monster breaking into your room and trying to off you! The game gives you a run of the basics such as movement, skill use,and attacking! After defeating the monster you get introduced to one of the many heroes that will be accompanying you on your adventures! As you progress in the game more is revealed to you!

One of these is how much of a pain an enemy healer is! But that's normal for almost any game. Another is that you can use a Gaea Break attack once it is fully charged up! This devastating attack hits hard and it might even do more but I haven't used it on my other characters! Not only that but you also start to see that your characters basic forms aren't permanent! Once you are done with the tutorial you are allowed to explore the other options of the game one of them being the hero panel that allows you to equip items to heroes, train them so they learn new skills, and even PROMOTE them to different ranks! Amazing right? You do need to collect certain items and similar to the way you would promote classes in Fire Emblem games...meaning you need to collect the appropriate stones for each individual class! You can also sacrifice units to buff up another unit! Cool huh?

Besides that you are also allowed to take part in arena player versus player content! Which is separated into different leagues! Bronze, silver, gold and maybe more are available and are unlocked the more you win fights! But be careful! Just like in PvE if your heroes get hurt in PvP you will have to wait for a certain amount of time to get them back to full health or pay a few crowns to get them ready fast! So try not to overdo it!

The cash shop in this game isn't heavily pay to win. But players who do donate a few bucks will have an edge over others but it's not something you can't overcome if you put the time into it! Gear, heroes of different qualities, and promotion stones are available for the right amount of gold or crowns! So try to save up those crowns until you get your nice hero all decked out and fully promoted! Then you can do whatever with them!

I am still barely getting into the game but so far it has been an awesome adventure that I will probably regret taking part of at work and school! But that's life right? Thanks for reading this article hopefully you found it somewhat helpful! Be sure to follow us on twitter and to leave a comment using the disqus comment section at the end of the article! Take care fellow gamers!

Kritika Chaos Unleashed: Better late than never!

Ah I remember when my friend told me about this game a few weeks ago! I said "pfft" and didn't bother to even try it out. Something I don't regret mainly because I get to play it anyway! Kritika is a pretty fun action 3d game that makes me feel like I am going on a roid rampage and murdering countless monsters for the glory of upgrading my gear and getting +20 on my new sword! Which amazingly isn't that difficult to do! Kritika has four available classes at the moment with more to be released soon! Berserker and Acrobat are available from the start with Dark Valkyrie and Shadow Mage unlocking at level 15 and level 20. Gold and karats do pass between each character so you can farm gold and karats on one and transfer them over the the others!

Now before I dive into the rest of the game let me explain a few things that are blocked out in this screenshot above! As you can see you get the usual stage mode for questing and getting experience and some gold and items! But you will notice two other chained up options! One is the survival mode which allows you to take part in monster wave at different levels. Monster wave is one of the main ways that you will be earning money and has an auto fight option enabled so you can just select it and be lazy while watching your favorite anime or movies! The other is called the Tower of Tribulation and is more about seeing how far you get! The third window is a PvP window that gives three options! Arena,Versus, and Melee! Each of these modes including survival will give you an appropriate rank and will reap you rewards such as gold and karats! So try your best to get to the top! Quests are unlocked at level 9 which reset daily! Upon completing these daily quests you will earn various rewards as well as 20 karats! Nice huh? Sockets help with boosting your character through different gemstones that give stat boosts like attack, defense, health, mana, and so on!

When you unlock the treasure option you will be able to use different keys to unlock different types of chests ranging from bronze to gold quality! Obviously the higher the quality the higher the chance of you getting awesome items! Crafting allows you to well...craft accessories, weapons, and armor using shards that you will get from the different modes except pvp! And enhancing...well...I don't think I have to go into detail there do I? Only thing you need to know is you can reroll affixes to get better stats, inherit and items upgrade level to another that is +4 and equal rarity and to reroll the affixes bonus!

Combat wise it is an action game at heart! With a joypad showing up on screen when you touch it to the skill and attack buttons on the right! Chaining skills together and mobbing up monsters leads to some pretty awesome effects and the faster you clear the dungeon the greater your rank at the end! Skills can be leveled and you also get passive skills to further boost your destructive power! They cost gold to upgrade and karats if you want to learn the next level without the wait but you will be fine with just gold! At the end of each dungeon is a boss that you have to kill of course! And trust me killing them...is fun! As you can see in the screenshots below! The one thing I didn't like is the damn treasure boxes! They always show the item I want somewhere else and even if I try again I get crap! But that's just my luck...

I did talk a bit about the PvP and so far have only been able to participate in the arena mode but this much is certain! Like any game the quality and fortification of your gear matters! Taking +10 and +5 fortified gear into the fight is better than taking unfortified gear! Getting your equipment upgraded doesn't cost an arm and a leg either! Simply do the monster wave and get the necessary gold then upgrade using the different items you've obtained! I've managed to get up to +10 on my weapon without failing using different grades of items as well as different grades of enhance plans! Each item comes in grey, green, blue, purple, and orange grades so be sure to know what you have! Now back to the PVP! Winning an arena match will earn you 1 karat and a few arena points that when they reach a certain milestone will grant you an item! Also ranking in the arena will net you karats and so far I have 96 karats waiting for me by the end of this week! Maybe more! PvP is automatic or at least the pvp in arena mode! So your character decides when to use the skills it has or when not to! Just hope your character isn't dumb right? :D
